On Tuesday Room Five went to the cottage after lunch. We went there to learn what they used in the olden days. We went with the teachers and the big kids. Some of Room Five had to stay outside because the house was so small.
I saw an enormous bible. Our group went into the kitchen and I saw an iron. You have to use two irons when you do your ironing. First you stick them both in the fire and then it warms up. Then you start ironing with the first iron. When the first iron is cold you use the other one.
We went to the next room. I was afraid because I saw a big saw that was used for cutting trees for the fire. We went up stairs. It was small and steep. I saw two rooms.
We had to go because room six was coming. It was like a adventure.
